It was Legs Day and I shoulda had a quitting time

Last week, at worky-work I told a younger colleague that he needed to have a quitting time or he was going to burn out. Tonight it took me 90+ minutes to get through an hour work out because I couldn’t leave worky-work alone. I needed a quitting time.

Normally, I’m pretty good at doing this. I have a time after which I don’t work anymore. I do my best not to think about work and I don’t touch my work email or volunteer my free time to my employer in any way. Tonight though, I got a little wound up because a new project launched today. I couldn’t leave it alone and I made myself miserable. Tomorrow, I’ll have a quitting time.

By the way, no regrets on picking up the weights today. I very rarely regret working out.
