The weather was beautiful in Austin today and there was almost no boat traffic on the lake. Nobody came to my SUP class so I got to do my own practice on the lake, which went well. It was nice to be out there after traveling last weekend. I did a entry level headstand (knees supported on upper arms) for about 2 seconds. The board moves a little when you put your head down, which is affecting me emotionally. It’s different than on a floor. Anyway, I was in a lunge with my back foot down, when I realized my back foot was uncomfortable. I looked and I had a squashed a poor little bee who I guess needed to let me know he was there. I felt bad for the bee because I like bees. Luckily for me there was a lake full of cold water to put my foot in. Also lucky that I happen to be full of antihistamines because of my allergies.
