About 3 weeks ago, I had this idea that I thought would work well to squat using a hex bar. If you’re not familiar with them, you stand in the middle of them and hold onto the handles. The orientation of your torso changes whether you’re squatting or deadlifting when you use them, I learned from YouTube. Anyway, I like it. I wasn’t getting far in terms of adding weight to my squats because I felt limited to dumbbell front squats or goblet squats. (No squat rack in our home gym.) This put a strain on my wrists above a certain weight. I’m still at pretty low weight but have added 15 lbs to what I was doing. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it.
By the way, the internet hasn’t caught on that I don’t eat candy (much) anymore….
